Tove Los „No One Dies from Love“: Streame die neue Single

Tove Lo ist heute mit der neuen Single „No One Dies from Love“ zurück. Die brutzelnde Dancefloor-Hymne, die gemeinsam mit ihrem häufigen Mitarbeiter Ludvig Söderberg geschrieben wurde, kommt mit einem auffälligen Musikvideo.

Unterstrichen von atemberaubenden Synthesizern und einem Four-on-the-Floor-Beat erinnert „No One Dies from Love“ an die verliebten Balladen der 80er Jahre, die mit Los Talent für clubtaugliche Hooks ins Jahr 2022 transportiert wurden. Ein definitiver Sad Banger im Stil von Robyns „Dancing On My Own“, in dem Lo den Abgang eines lieben Partners betrauert: „No one dies from love/ Guess I’ll be the first“, singt sie im Refrain.

„Wenn du lange Zeit mit jemandem zusammen bist und es plötzlich endet, ist es, als wäre ein Teil von dir gestorben“, sagte Lo in einer Pressemitteilung. „Diese Person ist Ihnen jetzt fremd. Alle Erinnerungen sind verdorben. Für den ersten Teil der Trennung glauben Sie, dass Sie sich wegen nichts, was Sie zusammen hatten, gut fühlen sollten. Was ich, glaube ich, am besten kann, ist „Herzschmerz, zu dem man tanzen kann“. Das Lied ist das.“

In dem von Alaska gedrehten Musikvideo zu „No One Dies from Love“ tanzt Lo mit einer verchromten Roboterfigur – stellen Sie sich einen sexy, femininen C-3PO vor.
